Practitioner Standards and Professional Development

A successful facilitation program is defined by the quality of the practitioners who deliver the services. Even the most seasoned facilitator will benefit from professional development and interaction with colleagues. Forming and maintaining a stellar roster of facilitators to deliver your program requires careful planning and constant effort. Programs must be purposeful in their recruitment and have strong criteria for selection of facilitators. Planning the initial facilitator training and the model(s) of facilitation offered should start with discussions from your stakeholder group.
