Registration for the 2020 Symposium will begin in mid-January, 2020. Symposium content information is being added as plans finalize.

The successful 2019 symposium included 200+ registrants from 24 states, Puerto Rico, and the District of Columbia. Attorneys from 20 states and jurisdictions presented school and parent points of view. The 2020 Symposium will offer all-new “hot topics,” based on the most recent case law published during the upcoming year.

During the week-long Special Education Law Symposium, the following nineteen accomplished special education attorneys (both sides) will lecture, conduct discussions with registrants, and provide detailed lecture outlines with case law citations: Hope Blackburn (New Jersey), Maria Blaeuer (Maryland), Mary Ann Carroll (Rhode Island), Gina DeCrescenzo (New York), Craig Goodmark (Georgia), Peter Maher (Connecticut), Deborah Mattison (Alabama), Michelle Moor (Massachusetts), Michael Stafford (Delaware), Rachel Stafford (District of Columbia), Julie Weatherly (Alabama), and Pennsylvania attorneys Tanya Alvarado, Andrew Faust, Brian Jason Ford, Dr. Stephen Jacobson, Hollie John, Brooke Say, Liliana Yazno-Bartle, and Dr. Perry Zirkel.

The 2020 symposium will again overlap with a separable two-day (June 25-26) Section 504 Coordinators Institute.
