I teach advanced conflict resolution at the University of California, Berkeley, conflict resolution and education at Pepperdine Straus Institute and the University of Denver (where I also teach Managing Crisis and Violence. I offer all classes as training and my services as a mediator, facilitator and coach of systems design (multicultural) and conflict prevention. As a former attorney for Minneapolis Public Schools, I have continued to work with schools at all levels for last fifteen years; developed a national violence prevention curriculum for middle schools funded by Dept of Justice in 1993.

Represented Minneapolis Public Schools in late eighties; caseload included IEP hearings and investigation; helped established state ADA precedent; mediating for last twenty years; facilitating for twenty-five. Extensive school conflict resolution experience at all levels, pre-school, elementary, secondary and post, including ombuds, fact-finding, consulting, mediating, facilitating...with focus on complex multicultural process involving issues of race, gender and other protected difference and violence.
