Morag is an experienced Scottish mediator across a range of areas including community and neighbour disputes, employment and workplace disputes, and equality issues. As the director of Common Ground Mediation, Morag has been involved in the development of ASN (Additional Support Needs) mediation in Scotland for over fifteen years. Common Ground Mediation is one of the main providers of ASN mediation in Scotland, and has strong links with the Scottish Government and local education authorities and schools across the country.
Morag was one of the first people in Scotland to qualify with an MSc in Mediation and Conflict Resolution from the University of Strathclyde in 2012. Her current work includes mediating professional complaints for the Scottish Legal Complaints Commission. Morag also teaches mediation to newly qualified law graduates as part of the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Strathclyde and the University of Edinburgh.
