Leah is the Training Director and IEP Partner Program Manager for the Oregon r.i.s.e. Center/OrPTI. The Partner Program serves as a national model supporting parents of children with disabilities in all phases of the IEP process with emphasis on dispute resolution. She has been with Oregon r.i.s.e. Center/Oregon Parent Training and Information Center for 7 years and a special education advocate since 2001. Leah serves, by Governor appointment, on the State Interagency Coordinating Council and the Dispute Resolution Committee. As a parent of a child with a disability, she is committed to informational empowerment, communication skill building and collaborative training to help ensure the full and meaningful participation of parents in their child’s special education program.
