Diana serves as an Education Program Specialist in the Office of Enhancing Student Opportunities in the Oregon Department of Education. She has worked in special education for over 15 years, and held roles supporting students, families and educators at the school, district, state and national level.

After building her career in South Florida, Diana moved to Oregon in 2016 when she joined CADRE, the National Center for Appropriate Dispute Resolution in Education. She served as the Data Analyst and Dispute Resolution Training Specialist for five years, providing training and technical assistance to state agencies, lead agencies, parent centers and other stakeholders nationwide.

Diana received both her bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Miami in elementary education and exceptional student education. She is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in Special Education at the University of Northern Colorado.

Diana is the proud mother of two wonderful children and a 90 lb. rescue pup. She loves all things food related, traveling, and exploring outdoors with her family.
