Patricia S. Bourexis, Ph.D., President and a Principal Researcher of The Study Group Inc., has worked with the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP), U.S. Department of Education and other federal agencies for more than 25 years to ensure program quality and effectiveness. Dr. Bourexis currently serves as the Project Director for a task order contract, Supporting the Comprehensive Planning Process for IDEA Part D. She previously directed two task order contracts, Technical Support for the Department of Education's Initiative to Link Research and Practice to Improve Results for Individuals with Disabilities (HS97017001) and Evaluation of EHA Discretionary Programs (HS89021001). Since 1981, she has conducted program sector analyses for the Department's Office of Educational Research and Improvement (now IES) on the use and impact of dissemination and program support services.
